Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 5-year technology roadmaps for AI, IoT, and biotech convergence
- Conduct market foresight research to identify emerging tech trends and disruptive threats
- Design and validate prototype solutions for 2026-era challenges (e.g., sustainable tech, neural interfaces)
- Present strategic visions to C-suite executives and external stakeholders with compelling data narratives
- Establish innovation frameworks for rapid prototyping and agile experimentation cycles
- Forge strategic partnerships with research institutions and venture capital firms
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon scanning methodology and strategic foresight tools
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with proven experience in emerging tech adoption
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, AR/VR, synthetic biology, or neuromorphic systems
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/SCF) or equivalent methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful technology predictions implemented within 5-year timeframe
- Exceptional data storytelling abilities with experience in C-suite presentations
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed tech journals or industry whitepapers
- Fluency in future scenario planning tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi method)
