Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum computing, neural interfaces, and climate-positive AI
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' prototyping sessions with R&D and product teams
- Research and validate emerging technologies (metaverse, synthetic biology, AGI safety)
- Develop ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human augmentation
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board of directors quarterly
- Partner with academic institutions and startups to identify disruptive innovations
- Launch incubation programs for 2026-focused ventures
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurology (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in emerging technology strategy with Fortune 500 or Silicon Valley unicorns
- Published research in AI ethics, quantum algorithms, or sustainable tech
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products with global impact
- Expertise in systems thinking and scenario planning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of regulatory landscapes for emerging technologies
