Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-disciplinary innovation sprints with robotics, nanotech, and climate engineering teams
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and neural interfaces
- Build predictive models for societal adoption of emerging technologies
- Curate 'Future Proof' certification protocols for sustainable tech solutions
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and venture partners
- Mentor junior futurists in emerging tech ethics and practical implementation
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurology
- 10+ years in technology R&D with 3+ years in strategic foresight
- Published research in top-tier journals on AI ethics or quantum applications
- Proficiency in simulation tools (Unity, Unreal Engine, MATLAB)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ implemented future-tech prototypes
- Deep understanding of semiconductor scaling limits and post-Moore's law alternatives
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Experience securing federal innovation grants (SBIR/STTR)
