Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies with 2026-2030 market potential
- Develop strategic roadmaps for integrating emerging technologies into core business operations
- Conduct scenario planning for quantum computing, neuro interfaces, and climate tech convergence
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite executives and board members with data-driven insights
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions using 5G, AR/VR, and biotech
- Establish ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and AI governance frameworks
- Represent the company at global tech summits and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field with 10+ years experience
- Proven track record of forecasting technology trends with 85%+ accuracy
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: quantum computing, neurotech, or climate tech
- Published research or patents in high-impact journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on digital transformation strategies
- Deep understanding of policy implications for emerging technologies
- Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategy
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management preferred
