Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, biotech, and nanotechnology convergence
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype 2026-ready solutions
- Partner with VCs and Fortune 500 companies to commercialize emerging tech
- Author white papers and present at global tech summits (Web Summit, CES)
- Manage a $5M innovation fund for early-stage 2026 technology incubation
- Mentor PhD researchers in translating theoretical models to market applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field with 8+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record in commercializing pre-2026 technologies (e.g., quantum ML, neuromorphic chips)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum algorithms, synthetic biology
- Published research in Nature/Science with >500 citations
- Experience leading R&D teams in FAANG or equivalent
- Fluency in Mandarin and/or Arabic for global stakeholder engagement
