Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps integrating quantum computing, AI governance frameworks, and climate-positive innovations
- Lead quarterly scenario planning workshops with executive leadership to anticipate disruptive market shifts
- Establish strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and other premier research institutions
- Author 'Horizon 2026' annual trend report distributed to 50,000+ industry stakeholders
- Oversee $5M+ R&D portfolio for emerging tech incubation and rapid prototyping
- Represent Horizon Labs at Davos, Web Summit, and premier future-focused conferences
- Mentor next-gen innovators through our Horizon Fellowship Program
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent experience in Futurology, Systems Theory, or Emerging Technology with 10+ years strategic planning
- Published thought leadership in Nature Futures, MIT Tech Review, or equivalent tier-1 publications
- Proven track record of scaling tech ventures from concept to $100M+ valuations
- Deep expertise in quantum computing, neuro-symbolic AI, and decentralized systems
- Fluency in futures research methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Cross-Impact Matrix)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 boards on technology disruption strategies
- Certified in Futures Thinking (CFP) or equivalent advanced credential
- Portfolio of at least three implemented technological foresight frameworks
