Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum, bio-AI, neuro interfaces)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and ethics teams
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with $1B+ market disruption potential
- Present future scenarios to C-suite and board stakeholders with data-driven insights
- Build partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and DARPA initiatives
- Author '2026 Tech Horizons' annual industry forecast report
- Oversee prototype development of next-gen human-AI collaboration systems
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or futurist consulting
- Published research in Nature/Science on emerging tech trends (2019-2023)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AGI ethics
- Proven track record of forecasting tech adoption curves with <15% error margin
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Schwartz, Delphi method)
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Futurist Studies preferred
- Security clearance for DoD tech collaboration projects
- Fluency in Mandarin or Arabic for global partnership engagement
