Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and human augmentation systems
- Lead cross-disciplinary labs prototyping next-gen interfaces (brain-computer, AR/VR, haptic feedback)
- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive technologies and societal impact assessments
- Collaborate with MIT Media Lab and NASA JPL on experimental tech integration
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite and board members quarterly
- Author whitepapers on ethical implications of 2026 tech ecosystems
- Mentor emerging futurists in our innovation incubator program
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Cognitive Science, or related field with 8+ years experience
- Published research in IEEE or Nature on emerging technologies (2019-2023)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ technology commercialization projects
- Expertise in quantum machine learning and neuromorphic computing
- Proficiency in futures forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Security clearance or ability to obtain DoD clearance
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages
- Experience with DARPA or similar innovation funding mechanisms
