Responsibilities
- Anticipate and map technological disruptions through horizon scanning and trend analysis

- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and policy teams
- Author visionary whitepapers on tech futures for C-suite and board audiences
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Quantify economic and societal impacts of proposed technological shifts
- Mentor junior futurists in foresight methodologies and ethical tech frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AGI, biotech)
- Proven track record of implementing future-forward technologies in enterprise environments
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership on technological disruption (patents, journals, books)
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Strong ethical compass for navigating technological dilemmas
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
