Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026+ innovation roadmap aligning with corporate vision
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing next-gen prototypes and proof-of-concepts
- Identify emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and assess commercial viability
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry disruptors
- Drive innovation culture through hackathons, incubation programs, and R&D initiatives
- Present strategic recommendations to the board with data-driven market analysis
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of launching market-disrupting products post-2020
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: AI/ML, Web3, or climate tech
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and investors
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Business, or Technology preferred
- Certification in Innovation Management (e.g., PDMA, IXL) required
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ innovation initiatives with measurable impact
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., scenario planning)
