Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 strategic innovation roadmap with measurable KPIs
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing and launching 3+ disruptive products/services
- Identify and capitalize on emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D budgets through compelling stakeholder presentations
- Mentor a team of 8+ innovation specialists and foster a culture of calculated risk-taking
- Establish strategic partnerships with Fortune 500 companies and academic institutions
- Present innovation frameworks to the board and C-suite for quarterly approvals
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, product development, or tech consulting
- Proven track record of launching 5+ market-disrupting products/services
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, IoT, blockchain) and future forecasting
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Innovation
- Experience securing $10M+ budgets and leading 20+ person teams
- Published thought leadership in innovation management (Harvard Business Review, etc.)
- Proficiency in agile methodologies and innovation frameworks (Design Thinking, Lean Startup)
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem
