- Secure $10M+ annual R&D budget and manage vendor/partner ecosystems
- Present innovation roadmaps to C-suite and board stakeholders quarterly
- Drive patent strategy with 20+ filings annually in core technology domains
- Mentor senior innovation specialists and cultivate a culture of calculated risk-taking
Qualifications
- 15+ years in innovation leadership with 5+ at VP/Director level in tech/automotive/healthcare
- Proven track record launching products generating $50M+ revenue
- Expertise in emerging tech: generative AI, blockchain, climate tech, or neuro interfaces
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business (PhD/MBA preferred)
- Strong network with VCs, research institutions, and global innovation hubs
- Exceptional strategic planning with data-driven decision-making frameworks
- Experience scaling teams from 5 to 50+ members in high-growth environments
