Responsibilities
- Architect multi-year innovation roadmap targeting 2026-2030 technological and societal shifts
- Lead moonshot projects in AI ethics, quantum computing applications, and sustainable systems
- Partner with C-suite to align innovation initiatives with corporate ESG goals
- Manage $15M+ R&D budget across emerging technology verticals
- Establish industry-first ethical frameworks for next-gen autonomous systems
- Drive patent portfolio development targeting 50+ new IP filings annually
- Curate external ecosystem through strategic partnerships with academic institutions and startups
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic innovation or technology leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of scaling breakthrough technologies from concept to market
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or advanced AI
- Certification in Futures Studies or equivalent foresight methodology
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed innovation journals
- Experience managing distributed R&D teams across 3+ continents
- Fluency in regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies (FDA, FCC, etc.)
- PhD or equivalent in technology, engineering, or strategic foresight
