Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts through 2026+
- Develop and executive strategic foresight frameworks for product development and market expansion
- Chair cross-functional innovation councils comprising engineering, R&D, and business strategy leaders
- Present future-shaping insights to executive board and investor stakeholders
- Design and implement scenario-planning models for geopolitical, technological, and societal uncertainties
- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with emerging tech startups and research institutions
- Drive integration of future-focused capabilities (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or C-suite technology leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (blockchain, AR/VR, quantum)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or Business Strategy (PhD/MBA preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: AI governance, neurotech, climate tech, or space commercialization
- Exceptional ability to synthesize complex data into compelling executive narratives
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent practical experience
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed innovation or technology journals
