Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal trends impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for exponential technology adoption (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Design and facilitate executive foresight workshops to align leadership on future priorities
- Build quantitative/qualitative models to forecast market disruption vectors and opportunity windows
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports with actionable strategic recommendations for product, R&D, and market teams
- Establish cross-functional innovation pipelines translating future insights into tangible business initiatives
- Maintain proprietary trend intelligence database with predictive analytics capabilities
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Business Analytics, or related field (Master's/PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend impact methodologies
- Proven ability to translate complex future scenarios into executable business strategies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology) and societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience (C-suite level)
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic frameworks implemented in enterprise environments
