Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Lead cross-disciplinary 'Horizon Scanning' teams to identify disruptive market signals
- Develop predictive models for societal, economic, and technological shifts through 2030
- Design and facilitate immersive future-state simulations for C-suite stakeholders
- Pioneer ethical frameworks for next-gen autonomous systems
- Collaborate with venture portfolio companies on 2026 product roadmaps
- Author quarterly 'Future Briefs' distributed to Fortune 500 partners
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of predicting market shifts with documented case studies
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning, and exponential technology
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or equivalent
- Published author in peer-reviewed futurism journals or industry whitepapers
- Proficiency in AI-driven trend analysis tools (e.g., GPT-4, Trend Hunter)
- Experience securing $10M+ budgets for future-oriented initiatives
- Portfolio of implemented 5-year strategic plans with measurable outcomes
