Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive opportunities
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with executive stakeholders
- Produce evidence-based forecasts with quantifiable risk assessments
- Partner with R&D teams to align innovation with market readiness
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board members
- Maintain a competitive intelligence database for 2026 technology vectors
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Strong command of quantitative forecasting tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Experience presenting complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology roadmapping projects
