As a 2026 Strategic Futurist, you'll work with Fortune 500 leaders to develop actionable intelligence about post-2025 landscapes. This role combines cutting-edge research with executive advisory services to navigate complex futures in AI ethics, climate resilience, and human augmentation.
Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technological, social, and economic trends through 2030 horizon scanning
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for clients facing 2026+ disruptions
- Lead cross-functional workshops on future-proofing organizational capabilities
- Author whitepapers and thought leadership on next-decade paradigm shifts
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate predictive analytics into foresight models
- Adv executive leadership on systemic risks and opportunities beyond current planning cycles
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, consulting, or futurist research
- Deep expertise in at least two future domains (e.g., quantum computing, neurotech)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into executive decision frameworks
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published thought leadership on long-term technological impacts
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and horizon scanning tools
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research capabilities
