Responsibilities
- Lead research in quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols for 2026 deployment
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits
- Mentor cross-functional team of 8+ researchers and engineers
- Develop patentable quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Secure $5M+ annual research grants from DARPA and NSF
- Publish in Nature Quantum Information and IEEE journals
- Partner with Fortune 500 companies for real-world quantum testing
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 5+ years hands-on experience with quantum hardware (IBM Rigetti, Google Sycamore)
- Expertise in Shor's algorithm and Grover's optimization
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum assembly languages
- Strong background in post-quantum cryptography (NIST PQC finalists)
- Experience securing DoD/NSF research grants
