Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum processors using superconducting qubits and topological systems
- Develop error correction protocols for 1000+ qubit architectures
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum algorithm optimization
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate cryogenic control systems
- Publish research in Nature Physics and IEEE journals
- Secure $2M+ in quantum computing patents annually
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience with quantum circuit design and error mitigation
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum simulation frameworks
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum machine learning applications
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware integration
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
