Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum computing architectures optimized for fault-tolerant operations
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Establish quantum security protocols for next-generation data infrastructure
- Drive innovation in quantum error correction and decoherence mitigation
- Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Experience with superconducting or ion-trap quantum hardware platforms
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects from concept to deployment
