Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026
- Design and execute strategic innovation roadmaps for quantum computing, biotech convergence, and AI ethics
- Facilitate cross-disciplinary workshops with Fortune 500 partners to co-create next-gen solutions
- Develop patent-worthy frameworks for sustainable future economies and circular supply chains
- Oversee pilot programs for breakthrough technologies in smart cities and neuro-interfaces
- Present innovation strategies to C-suite executives and government innovation councils
- Mentor a team of futurists and R&D specialists in exponential thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Future Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic innovation or R&D leadership within tech, biotech, or sustainability sectors
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products with $50M+ revenue impact
- Expertise in emerging tech: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or advanced AI systems
- Published thought leadership in futurism journals or top-tier industry publications
- Experience securing government grants and corporate partnerships for futuristic initiatives
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning, technology roadmapping)
- Ability to distill complex future scenarios into executable business strategies
