- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate emerging technologies into market-ready solutions
- Conduct horizon-scanning analyses identifying paradigm-shifting developments
- Partner with venture capital teams to evaluate and integrate disruptive startups
- Author thought leadership publications on tech evolution and industry disruption
- Design AI-augmented decision frameworks for long-term strategic planning
- Mentor R&D teams in future-proofing product architectures
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning at Fortune 500 tech or biotech firms
- Proven track record in emerging technology commercialization
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of quantum computing, synthetic biology, or climate tech
- Published research on technological adoption curves or disruption patterns
- Certification in Futures Studies (AFS) or similar credential
