Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps by analyzing emerging trends across AI, quantum computing, and climate tech
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate next-gen solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry disruptors
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Conduct scenario planning for regulatory and ethical implications of 2026 technologies
- Drive R&D investment allocation based on market readiness and disruption potential
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation or R&D leadership within tech/biotech sectors
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching products with 3+ year development cycles
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience securing $5M+ innovation budgets from VC or corporate sources
- Published thought leadership on future technology implications
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight preferred
