Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026
- Develop and maintain 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technology verticals
- Collaborate with R&D teams to translate future scenarios into R&D priorities
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and external partners
- Build and manage a network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Author thought leadership content on future technology and societal impacts
- Oversee cross-functional innovation sprints focused on 2026 capabilities
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategy, innovation, or futurism roles at Fortune 500 or high-growth tech
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and long-term trend forecasting
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Advanced degree in strategic foresight, technology management, or related field
- Experience building and managing global innovation ecosystems
- Portfolio of published future-focused analyses or strategic frameworks
