Responsibilities
- Architect and execute 5-year innovation roadmaps for post-2026 technological paradigms
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum AI, biotech convergence, and climate tech
- Identify disruptive opportunities through market analysis and academic research partnerships
- Manage prototype development from concept to pilot with $5M+ annual innovation budget
- Present strategic visions to C-suite and external stakeholders including government agencies
- Drive open-source initiatives and thought leadership through whitepapers and conferences
- Mentor innovation teams and foster a culture of calculated risk-taking
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of R&D leadership
- Proven track record in scaling breakthrough technologies from lab to market
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Experience securing government grants and venture capital for futuristic projects
- Exceptional strategic planning with ability to articulate complex technical visions
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or industry conference proceedings
- Strong network with academic institutions and global tech ecosystems
