Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps by analyzing emerging trends in AI, biotech, quantum computing, and space exploration
- Lead design sprints to prototype future-facing solutions for healthcare, climate resilience, and human augmentation
- Collaborate with R&D teams to validate technical feasibility of forward-looking concepts
- Present strategic innovation frameworks to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Establish ethical governance frameworks for responsible deployment of breakthrough technologies
- Manage $2M+ innovation budgets across experimental projects
- Publish thought leadership in industry journals and conference circuits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic innovation or technology forecasting at Fortune 500 or unicorn startup
- Proven track record of launching at least 3 market-defining products
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., neural interfaces, synthetic biology)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFAP) or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating 2026+ technology scenario planning projects
- Exceptional data visualization skills using tools like Tableau or D3.js
- Experience securing patents or trademarks for disruptive innovations
