Responsibilities
- Architect 2026 innovation roadmap aligning with emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, biotech integration)
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing prototype solutions for Fortune 500 partners
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D funding through strategic stakeholder presentations
- Establish industry partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Stanford HAI, and EU Horizon 2030 initiatives
- Present quarterly innovation briefings to C-suite and board of directors
- Mentor junior futurists in ethical tech development and future forecasting methodologies
- Drive patent portfolio expansion targeting 15+ new IP filings annually
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation or R&D leadership with 5+ years in future-focused roles
- Proven track record of launching minimum 3 breakthrough technologies to market
- Expertise in emerging tech domains: quantum computing, AGI governance, or sustainable tech
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and horizon scanning techniques
- Exceptional stakeholder management with executive/board presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier journals
- Certification in Technology Foresight (TF) or Strategic Foresight (SF)
