Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap, aligning with long-term business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling futuristic technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Identify and evaluate emerging trends, risks, and opportunities through market research and competitive analysis
- Present strategic innovation proposals to C-suite executives and secure executive buy-in
- Manage a $5M+ innovation portfolio, ensuring ROI and strategic alignment
- Foster a culture of experimentation and rapid iteration within the organization
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with industry disruptors and academic institutions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of launching successful future-facing initiatives
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, IoT, AR/VR)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Executive presence with excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field
- Certification in Innovation Management or Strategic Foresight preferred
