- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Establish KPI frameworks for innovation initiatives aligned with ESG principles
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D budget through compelling investment proposals
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation management or R&D leadership within tech/consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Strategy
- Deep expertise in at least two 2026-relevant domains (quantum, AI ethics, climate tech)
- Certified Innovation Professional (CIP) or similar designation preferred
- Experience securing government innovation grants (SBIR, etc.)
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
