Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives for 2026-era technologies including quantum computing applications and AI-driven automation
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging tech adoption across healthcare, logistics, and energy sectors
- Secure and manage partnerships with academic institutions and industry disruptors
- Prototype and validate next-gen solutions in our innovation lab with $500K annual R&D budget
- Present findings to C-suite and board members with data-driven impact projections
- Mentor a team of 5+ specialists in emerging technologies and agile methodologies
- Drive patent strategy for proprietary innovations with our legal team
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology leadership with proven track record in disruptive innovation
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or synthetic biology)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research in IEEE Nature or similar tier-1 publications
- Experience scaling tech ventures from concept to commercialization
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystem
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and cloud architecture (AWS/GCP)
- Exceptional strategic planning and stakeholder management skills
