Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026+ technology innovation strategy, aligning with long-term business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) with disruptive potential
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Build strategic partnerships with research institutions, startups, and industry leaders
- Present innovation roadmaps and investment recommendations to C-suite executives
- Monitor global tech trends and regulatory shifts affecting future markets
- Mentor a team of innovation specialists and foster a culture of calculated risk-taking
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Strong financial modeling skills for innovation ROI analysis
- Exceptional strategic communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business with innovation focus
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
