Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual 'Horizon Scan' reports identifying emerging technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Prototyping Labs' to validate 3-5 year innovation hypotheses
- Design strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present future scenarios to executive board and investor stakeholders with quantifiable impact models
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring innovation maturity against 2026 benchmarks
- Mentor junior futurists through our 'Emerging Minds' leadership program
- Author thought leadership pieces for industry publications and academic journals
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or equivalent with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/biotech preferred)
- Deep expertise in scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Portfolio of published future trend analyses or innovation roadmaps
- Exceptional data storytelling abilities with visualization mastery (Tableau/Power BI)
- Experience advising C-suite on technology disruption preparedness
- Professional certification in Foresight or Innovation (e.g., APF, CPSI)
- Fluency in at least one emerging technology domain (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
