Responsibilities
- Develop 3-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (2026-2029 horizon)
- Lead interdisciplinary R&D projects in quantum-AI convergence and biotech integration
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and neuro-interfaces
- Partner with governments to future-proof infrastructure and policy frameworks
- Prototype climate-positive solutions using carbon-negative materials
- Present findings to C-suite and venture capital partners
- Mentor junior researchers in speculative design methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Computational Physics, Systems Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years experience in emerging technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Published work in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum simulation frameworks
- Deep understanding of ISO/IEC 42071 AI governance standards
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ scalable tech innovations
- Clearance for DoD/NSF collaborative projects
- Experience with decentralized governance models (DAOs)
