Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, neurotech, climate tech) through 2026+ horizons
- Design and implement multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Develop future-proof governance frameworks for AI and autonomous systems
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and investor communities
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate an innovation-first culture
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record developing 5-10 year technology roadmaps
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong data analytics skills with proficiency in trend analysis tools
- Executive presence with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or Futures Studies preferred
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or futurism
