Responsibilities
- Lead R&D initiatives for 2026-era technologies including quantum neural interfaces and synthetic biology applications
- Develop predictive models for technological convergence and societal impact
- Architect ethical frameworks for advanced AI systems with global regulatory bodies
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to prototype next-gen human-computer interfaces
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Author thought leadership papers on the future of human augmentation
- Mentor junior researchers in cutting-edge computational methods
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Bioengineering, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum computing or synthetic biology
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum machine learning, neuromorphic engineering, or CRISPR-based algorithms
- Proven track record of scaling AI systems to petabyte-scale datasets
- Familiarity with ISO 42001 and EU AI Act compliance frameworks
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ commercially deployed futuristic technologies
- Exceptional ability to translate complex concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Security clearance for government collaborative projects preferred
