Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology foresight strategy, identifying breakthrough innovations with 3-7 year impact horizons
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AGI, biotech convergence) and translate insights into actionable roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate futuristic concepts
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and global research consortia
- Present strategic vision to executive stakeholders and board members
- Author thought leadership publications on future technology paradigms
- Manage innovation lab budget and resource allocation for 2026 initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in futurism or emerging tech roles
- Proven track record of successfully implementing long-term technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, neurotech, etc.)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- PhD or equivalent in technology, futurology, or related field preferred
- Experience presenting to C-suite and board-level audiences
- Published author or keynote speaker in technology futurism
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and make high-stakes decisions with incomplete data
