Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, bio-integrated AI, decentralized systems) to identify market opportunities for 2026+
- Develop strategic roadmaps for technology adoption across product, operations, and customer experience domains
- Lead scenario planning workshops to prepare for disruptive shifts in global tech landscapes
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-proof solutions with 3-5 year horizons
- Present strategic insights to stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and narrative frameworks
- Establish KPI frameworks to measure innovation impact and strategic alignment
- Partner with marketing to position Horizon Dynamics as a thought leader in future technologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, Computer Science, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years experience in tech strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends with documented impact on business strategy
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, neurotech, climate AI, or synthetic biology
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience facilitating executive workshops and presenting to C-suite audiences
- Strong portfolio demonstrating future-tech projects or published thought leadership
