Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic frameworks for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Produce annual Future State reports for executive and board decision-making
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align teams on future-vision implementation
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Monitor geopolitical and socioeconomic trends impacting tech adoption
- Quantify future market opportunities through predictive modeling
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic consulting, R&D leadership, or futurist research
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Published thought leadership on exponential technologies (2020-2025)
- Expertise in scenario planning and probabilistic forecasting methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech: AGI, neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology
- Experience advising Fortune 500 boards on long-term strategy
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFMP preferred)
- Portfolio of future-vision projects demonstrating measurable impact
