Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data to identify and validate 2026+ technological, societal, and economic inflection points
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for C-suite executives across Fortune 500 clients
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-proof business models
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global forums
- Quantify market opportunities and risks using predictive analytics and simulation modeling
- Mentor junior futurists while cultivating an ecosystem of industry experts
- Collaborate with R&D to integrate foresight into product development lifecycles
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field with 5+ years applied experience
- Proven track record of translating foresight into actionable business strategy
- Expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.) and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to distill complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Portfolio of published futurist work or successful strategic implementations
- Certification in futures research (e.g., ACFS preferred) or equivalent practical expertise
