As a cornerstone of our Future Intelligence division, you'll collaborate with Fortune 500 companies to identify disruptive opportunities, mitigate existential risks, and design actionable roadmaps for the next 3-5 years. This isn't just forecasting—it's about creating the future we want to inhabit.
Responsibilities
- Analyze macroeconomic shifts, technological breakthroughs, and sociocultural transformations to forecast 2026+ industry landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for C-suite executives in AI, biotech, and quantum computing sectors
- Lead cross-functional workshops to co-create strategic blueprints for future-proof organizations
- Produce executive briefings and trend reports published in partnership with MIT Tech Review
- Advocate ethical innovation principles while navigating regulatory uncertainty in emerging domains
- Build and mentor a global network of futurist practitioners to accelerate collective intelligence
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent discipline with 5+ years applied experience
- Proven track record of translating complex trends into executable business strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two future-critical domains: AI ethics, synthetic biology, or decentralized systems
- Mastery of foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Causal Layered Analysis)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to distill ambiguity into compelling narratives
- Portfolio demonstrating impact on organizational strategy through future-oriented interventions
