Responsibilities
- Forecast technology trends and market disruptions through data-driven analysis and scenario planning
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech integration
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-vision initiatives
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at industry forums
- Partner with product teams to prototype solutions for 2030+ use cases
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts impacting tech adoption timelines
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in trend analysis using tools like Delphi methods and horizon scanning
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Experience translating foresight into actionable business strategies
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Certification in Foresight Methodology (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented future-vision projects
