Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year strategic foresight frameworks targeting 2026 market landscapes
- Analyze emerging tech (AI, quantum, biotech) and societal trends to identify disruptive opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable product roadmaps
- Present strategic recommendations to board members with data-driven scenario modeling
- Partner with R&D to prototype solutions for 2026 challenges (sustainability, hyper-personalization)
- Establish KPIs to track foresight maturity and strategic alignment
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or tech R&D leadership
- Proven experience developing decade-long roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, quantum computing)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership on future-of-work or future-of-industry topics
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ strategic initiatives launched from foresight insights
