Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze technological, economic, and sociopolitical trends impacting 2026+ horizons
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for quantum adoption, climate resilience, and AI governance
- Lead cross-functional initiatives in synthetic biology and space colonization readiness
- Present disruptive innovation roadmaps to investors and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies
- Author thought leadership publications on future-proofing enterprises
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Proven ability to translate complex future scenarios into executable business strategies
- Experience with horizon scanning and Delphi methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for executive audiences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFPS) or equivalent
- Portfolio demonstrating published future scenarios or innovation frameworks
