Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 2026+ technology trend forecasts across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable energy sectors
- Produce scenario-planning models for geopolitical and market disruptions affecting 2026-2030 horizons
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable strategic initiatives
- Establish KPIs for measuring future-readiness across organizational functions
- Publish quarterly trend briefings for executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets and partnership opportunities aligned with 2026 vision
- Represent the organization at global futurist forums and thought leadership summits
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Policy, or related field
- Minimum 7 years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology forecasting
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level communication abilities
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight publications
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from APF or Foresight Certification Institute)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful multi-year strategic implementations
