Responsibilities
- Analyze and synthesize global megatrends, technological disruptions, and socioeconomic shifts to inform strategic planning for 2026+ horizons
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive future intelligence framework using advanced data modeling, AI-driven forecasting, and scenario planning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed future-readiness into product development, market expansion, and operational excellence
- Author thought leadership content (whitepapers, keynote presentations, industry reports) that positions Horizon Dynamics as the authority on emerging futures
- Build and nurture strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government bodies, and innovation ecosystems to shape future standards
- Lead immersive foresight workshops and hackathons to cultivate a future-oriented culture across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, or equivalent with 7+ years of applied experience
- Proven track record in developing and implementing long-term strategic frameworks for Fortune 500 companies or global enterprises
- Expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI, etc.) and their societal implications
- Exceptional analytical skills with proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Cross-Impact Matrix)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex future scenarios into actionable business strategies and investment priorities
- Strong communication skills with experience influencing executive leadership and diverse stakeholders
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies (preferred)
