Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts affecting 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for multi-industry applications
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market readiness
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Author annual '2026 Vision Report' disseminated to Fortune 500 partners
- Mentor cross-functional teams in adaptive innovation methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 5-10 year strategic roadmaps
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, biotech, and decentralized systems
- Exceptional data synthesis and scenario modeling capabilities
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology forecasting
- Experience presenting to C-suite audiences and influencing high-stakes decisions
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-strategy implementations
