Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies including quantum computing, synthetic biology, and neural interfaces
- Analyze global tech trends and disruptors to identify high-impact innovation opportunities
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating futuristic concepts through agile methodologies
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders through compelling visual narratives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs to pioneer breakthrough initiatives
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting technological adoption and adapt strategies accordingly
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of experimental innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or future-focused technology roles
- Advanced degree in Futuristics, Systems Engineering, or related field with PhD preferred
- Proven track record of translating emerging technologies into market-ready solutions
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, synthetic biology, or space tech
- Exceptional data modeling skills with proficiency in forecasting tools and scenario planning software
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in matrixed organizations
- Presentation skills demonstrated at global forums (e.g., Davos, TED Talks)
- Portfolio showcasing published research or patented futuristic innovations
