Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to map technological and societal shifts through 2026
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and commercialization opportunities
- Develop scenario-based roadmaps for product development and market entry strategies
- Partner with R&D teams to integrate future-focused innovations into current product pipelines
- Present executive briefings and stakeholder workshops on future implications and opportunities
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership publications and industry trend reports
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their socioeconomic implications
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills for complex future scenarios
- Experience advising C-suite executives on long-term strategic positioning
- Portfolio demonstrating successful implementation of future-focused strategies
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology innovation forums
