Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies with 2026+ impact potential
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks integrating AI, biotech, and climate innovation trajectories
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to translate future insights into multi-year strategic roadmaps
- Author thought leadership on paradigm shifts affecting industries by 2026
- Design and facilitate future-state workshops with cross-functional innovation teams
- Monitor global tech policy and regulatory developments affecting future business landscapes
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or equivalent strategic discipline
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology strategy role
- Proven track record of identifying and commercializing emerging trends
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum, AI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex future concepts
- Portfolio demonstrating published future-state analyses or strategic foresight projects
